Paint Schemes for Our Home 2026

The first floor of our home got some paint color updates that transformed our living space in 2025 and gave each room of our modest 1920s colonial its own distinct feeling. One of my favorite updates was color drenching the dining room in Farrow & Ball Lulworth Blue, which I swear visually added square footage to the room! The walls recede and the room feels so much bigger and more intimate at the same time. 

In 2026, I want to start thinking about paint updates to the second floor. The rooms are small and need their own vibe to feel special, my thinking is this will make the second floor feel larger too to make up for the lack of square footage. Over the past couple days I have been working on ChatGPT mockups, and here is a collection of my favorite shades for each room.
