Pinwheels and Milk Glass

As I've been planning for my upcoming baby shower, I've become fascinated by pinwheels and milk glass. There is something magical about this fun, bright and happy. I was able to pick up a starters collection of milk glass at my local consignment store for 8 bucks (that's a fraction of the cost of similar pieces I found on Etsy for sale).

The most absolutely gorgeous pinwheels I've been able to find are from ElizabethSt. I went with her Anna Griffin blue and green collection that is perfect with the color scheme for my shower.

New Pillows!

So, my red ikat pillows from diypillows finally arrived! They're custom made using an awesome red and taupe ikat fabric from West Elm.

I think they make a huge difference in the room - creating a little more movement and interest than the previous drab Restoration Hardware covers my sofa had been wearing for the past 2 years!

Trellis Magazine Holder

As you know, I've recently undergone a magazine purging project. I am left with the last 2 years of House Beautiful and Martha Stewart Living...the rest wound up in the recycling! So, I need 2 super cute magazine storage bins to hold the collection.

When I stumbled upon these beauties on Etsy I couldn't even believe it. Magazine bins - covered inside and out in Kelly Wearstler's Iconic Imperial Trellis Pattern! Are you as in love as I am? Thought so.
